Coolant for your drill bit: if you are using a vacuum brazed or electroplated drill bit, in most of the condition it doesn’t need a coolant, if it is a sintered segmented drill bit, check the instructions to see if it needs coolant, for most of the situation, if the working condition allows you to use coolant, the sintered segment drill bit will have a better performance, also with the vacuum brazed or electroplated drill bits.
